It is my pleasure, on behalf of myself and all faculty members of the English Language Department, to welcome you to the website of the English Language Department at Al-Awainya College of Education.
The English Language Department embraces an ambitious vision: to strive for academic and educational excellence in the field of English language teaching and methodology, and to prepare teachers and specialists who are scientifically, professionally, and ethically qualified to contribute to the development of the educational process and serve the local and global community.
Guided by this vision, our mission revolves around:
- Excellence in Education: Offering robust academic programs based on the latest international curricula, providing students with a deep understanding of the English language—its structure, sounds, literature, and cultures.
- Comprehensive Educational Preparation: Equipping future teachers with modern teaching skills, educational theories, and advanced instructional technologies, and providing them with the necessary competencies to handle diverse classroom environments.
- Scientific Research: Encouraging creative scientific research in the fields of applied linguistics and language teaching methods to contribute to the enrichment of human knowledge.
